Here’s some good news for those having problems transferring their Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance save files for use in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Nintendo will reportedly be rolling out fixed Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn discs come mid-December.
The problem that this fix addresses occurs when gamers try to transfer Easy mode save files from the GameCube title Path of Radiance onto the Wii game Radiant Dawn. The bug itself is easy to circumvent, but could take some time: since only Easy save files are affected, one can always finish Path of Radiance in Normal or Hard mode and transfer those save files instead.
As with fixes for other Wii titles, the solution for the Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn save file bug will require gamers to send in their Radiant Dawn discs to Nintendo. Nintendo assured those who encountered the bug that “when everything is in place, [Nintendo] will set up a warranty repair for your game and email you repair instructions.”
