After it has been confirmed by Sora Ltd.’s Masahiro Sakurai yesterday that upcoming Nintendo Wii title Super Smash Bros. Brawl will not be able to make its scheduled release date for North America, all eyes now turn to other territories.
Many people consider the delay a bit drastic when compared to other regions. In Japan, the title will only be pushed back by a week, while it is almost a full month’s delay in the U.S. So far, there is still no word about the other regions.
When asked about the matter, Nintendo UK simply shrugged its shoulders and didn’t provide any comments. A spokesperson then commented that “no European date has ever been announced for Smash Bros.“
It is worth mentioning at this point that Super Smash Bros. Brawl still has no definite release date and that it didn’t appear in Nintendo’s recent release schedule for Europe.
