Nintendo Warns of Hunter Impersonations in Metroid Prime Hunters
Nintendo has issued an alert about impersonators in Metroid Prime Hunters. With the Friend Code system, anybody can have any username. This of course can allow unscrupulous gamers to play using usernames that aren’t theirs. There are many imps running around and not everybody is who you might think they are. The problem was in Mario Kart DS as well with tons of people impersonating Nintendo employees like Reggie Fils-Aime and just those who were well known in the gaming community like Azen Zagenite.
Nintendo’s current warning concerns the Nintendo of America employee known as NOA_Rufus. There is someone on Metroid Prime Hunters playing using NOA_Rufus’ name – it isn’t him. Remember that the next time you bump into someone using the same username as a person you know. It might be someone else entirely.
