Nintendo Weekend Warrior – award-winning and still holding up
There are a lot of distinctions, there are a lot of milestones, but few have actually won an award. For Nintendo, they took home three in one day. Shigeru Miyamoto received Japan’s Lifetime Achievement Award, while the Nintendo Wii and DS received a Distinguished Service award for having “further expanded the horizons of gaming culture”. DSi’s selling hot in Japan, while the Wii and DS both did well on Thanksgiving Week -who’s to say the honor isn’t well-deserved?
