Nintendo’s pre-E3 Revolution debut

Nintendo has sent out invitations for a pre-E3 press conference that will take place at the LA Kodak Theater on May 9. The conference will most likely present the Revolution’s final name, launch line-up and price in the venue famous for the Oscar awards show. But don’t worry, QJ will be right there to tell you about it as soon as it happens!

Speculation still surrounds the name in particular, since it has been confirmed that Revolution will not be the official name of the console.

Already announced are the 20 launch titles, with Ubisoft’s Red Steel being one of them. Expect more names to fall during the press briefing. But is it an answer to Sony’s pre-E3 event in an effort to keep the hype machine going at the same level as their competitors – or was it planned this way from the beginning? For the fans and eagerly waiting it’s a positive thing no matter what, as they’ll get their dose of Rev information a few days earlier.
