Nnooo pitching Pokemon MMO idea to Nintendo

We’ve already got ourselves a Dragon Ball Online in the works, but how about that other phenomenal anime and gaming IP, Pokemon? Will we get a Pokemon MMO? We don’t know the answer yet, but at least gaming developer Nnooo managed to think about pitching that idea to the folks at Nintendo. More in the full article!

Pokemon + MMO = ?

You can try to solve the equation, but in case you don’t know what the answer is (most of us don’t, either), there is a chance that we may find out, soon. Game developer Nnooo, of WiiWare’s Pop fame, is pitching that very idea to Nintendo. There’s still no word if there will be a future to such an idea, but we certainly do hope that it pulls through.

Imagine being able to roam around, collecting Pokemon and exchanging creatures with in-game friends, or challenge Gym Leaders in neighboring towns. If you think about it, Pokemon is one of the IPs that can easily translate into an MMO title.

Will we see a Pokemon MMO then, in the near future? We don’t know, but you can bet that we’ll be keeping tabs on this particular tidbit. Check this space for more updates!
