No Dark Age of Camelot 2 Is Planned, Says Mythic

The developers  at Mythic have confirmed that their will be no Dark Age Of Camelot 2 – after all, if it ain’t broke, why fix it? Although the improvements to the look of the game are made regularly, and a new server may be in the works, producer Walt Yarbrough stands by his statement that “…it’s the best RVR game on the market.”

At the moment, the focus is on improving the lower classes, giving them more power, although it is not known which ones will have their status raised in the upcoming patch.

There is also an expansion for the game planned for release this fall. Although new frontiers will not be part of it, the expansion will include an addition to the RVR system that Yarbrough believes will “encourage open field battles in a big way.”

Content manager Yvonne Bridges indicates that the company will be seeking player input, so players should look for a poll to be posted on the DAoC website soon.
