No Final Fantasy XI on November 13

PlayOnline reports today that they are to undergo server maintenance and among those that will be affected is MMO Final Fantasy XI. We all know that updates like this is normal for all sites however, we can’t help but wonder if this has anything to do with the recent rampant account hacks or the newly created task force.

As the servers go down, FF XI Linkshell Community Beta version will also be affected, as well as the following site realms: Friend List Plus, Q&A Search, Contact Us Form and the FF XI Community Sites (Viewing and Editing). The maintenance will be conducted on November 13, starting at 9 a.m. PST until 5 p.m. PST. Unfortunately for those players who want to recover some deleted characters, the PlayOnline Information Center will not be available likewise during the said hours.

Bummer, huh? Don’t worry, the servers are sure to up again even before you notice it. While thinking of something to do on that day, maybe you can take a look first at our featured article on FF XIII.
