No Force Feedback for GT on PS3
There’s a post over at GT Planet that says that Force Feedback, an Immersion-patented technology, will not function on Sony‘s PS3.
For those of you who are in tears, and are still feeling that desperate need for Force Feedback on their steering wheels for their beloved racing games, stop, let go, lose all hope, and just accept it. Even Sony says that it just isn’t so.
1UP reports that SCEA confirmed that there would be no supported force feedback technology with its PlayStation 3. SCEA states that all PS3 games are programmed for the SIXAXIS which doesn’t have force feedback.
For fans of racing games and certain genres that are immensely improved via force feedback, this is bad, bad news.
