No mention of Xbox 360 from cops in London shooting
It was earlier reported that an assault took place in south London where an 18-year old man was shot by two or three assailants. Early reports suggested that the attack was motivated by an intent to rob the victim of his Xbox 360 game console, but proved premature as authorities made no mention of it.
The Metropolitan police released a statement in which it was revealed that the victim was indeed shot but was immediately treated in a hospital, allowing medics to save his life. He was later discharged and allowed to return home.
The police say that two or three black men in their late teens were responsible for the crime. Two arrests have already been made. One of the suspects posted bail and is awaiting trial. More than this, there was no further mention of an Xbox 360 console.
Law enforcers are now appealing to the public for witnesses to come out and help solve the case. “Anyone who can assist should call DS Gary Fryer on 020 8785 8172; if you wish to remain anonymous please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111,” say the authorities.
