No Modern Warfare 3 from Infinity Ward?
It’s an understatement to say Infinity Ward scored big with Modern Warfare 2, so it’s only natural that they follow up that succes with another Modern Warfare game, right? Not so, according to “insiders.”

VG247 reports that dev sources have intimated that the next Modern Warfare game won’t be handled by Infinity Ward. Two different sources mentioned two different studios: one is Sledgehammer Games and the other is an unnamed Canadian development company.
The former is currently looking for a multiplayer designer, which seems to add more fuel to this hot rumor. As for the Canadian studio, the only Activision-owned developer in Canada is Vancouver-based Prototype developer Radical Entertainment.
Remember guys, this is just a rumor. Infinity Ward has so far declined to say anything about what they plan to do after Modern Warfare 2, but “US insiders” have reportedly said that the studio is working on something completely new.
