As you all are probably aware by now, Grasshopper Manufacture‘s upcoming Nintendo Wii game No More Heroes features an open-world mode where players are allowed to freely roam around the city of Santa Destroy and accept various missions.
The official Famitsu website has just posted an update regarding this very same feature. According to Famitsu, a few of the missions in No More Heroes will involve Travis Touchdown getting part-time jobs and hitting people with the beam katana:
- Free Fight Missions – hit a set number of people in a given amount of time
- Murder Missions – Assassinate a target
- Part-time Job Missions – Several odd jobs such as collecting coconuts, caring for cats and others
Due to the fact that Famitsu’s website is in Japanese, we are unable to confirm if there are other types of missions available in No More Heroes aside from the ones outlined above.
We guess we’ll all just to find out when the game hits North American and European retail shelves in February 2008. Japanese gamers, on the other hand, can get No More Heroes earlier this coming December.
