Gameloft, however, has already announced its UNO Mini game, which has the multiplayer and connectivity features that the program supposedly does not support. So what’s the real score?

As it turns out, the specifications do not fall under an inflexible rule. It’s just that prohibiting features like multiplayer streamlines the development for Minis, so devs will have more time to focus on the single player mode.

Pocket Gamer reckons that perhaps larger publishers such as Gameloft may negotiate with Sony if they really wish to include those features. As it is, Sony wants to keep true to the concept and keep the price tag under € 5 (US$ 7) and the file sizes under 100 MB.
