No sign of Final Fantasy XIII: Square Enix unveils game line-up for E3 2008 - Image 1Square Enix has just released their planned game line-up for this year’s E3. While Final Fantasy XIII didn’t pop up anywhere in the list, Square’s PR indicates that the PSP’s two Star Ocean titles are due for an English port. Details are available in the full article.

No sign of Final Fantasy XIII: Square Enix unveils game line-up for E3 2008 - Image 1It appears that Square Enix is not one to be outdone by Capcom‘s previously announced E3 lineup. The company has released their own press wire detailing their games that will be on display at the event, with Star Ocean titles in ample supply.

Square further indicated that Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest, Infinite Undiscovery, and Song Summoner in particular will have their own playable kiosks. Topping this lineup is Taito Corporation, which plans to feature EXIT DS and The Legend of Kage 2 for the DS.

As some of the readers may have noticed, Final Fantasy XIII is nowhere in the list. This is a little strange given that a Square rep previously hinted that it’s expected to make an appearance at the upcoming expo. With just a few days to go, perhaps the best course of action is to wait and see.

On the positive side, it appears that Square has plans to port both First Departure and The Second Evolution into English after all. That’s all the information we’ve got for the moment – drop by again in case of any further updates.
