Nomura: Next Kingdom Hearts game won’t be III
Tetsuya Nomura may want to get cracking on Kingdom Hearts III as quickly as possible, but that doesn’t mean fans of the series will be getting it right after Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.

In the latest issue of Famitsu, Nomura explained that the next Kingdom Hearts won’t be III. It won’t even star Sora. It will instead feature another central player in the Kingdom Hearts saga as the main character. This next game will serve to bridge the stories presented in previous titles.
There’s still some good news for those waiting for III, however. In the same interview, Nomura stated that he would like for there to be a Kingdom Hearts release every year. If all goes according to his wishes, we can probably expect the next entry by 2011.
