North American box art for Final Fantasy I & II: 20th Anniversary Edition
North American gamers have long been complaining that the box art for stateside releases of Japanese games haven’t been up to par with the originals. Well, it seems like that trend’s starting to come to an end, because the box art for the North American versions of Square Enix‘s Final Fantasy I & II 20th Anniversary Edition are both looking pretty darn snazzy.
Yeah, it might be ports of a couple of games that were released before some of our readers were yet to be conceived, but both 20th Anniversary Editions of Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy II have been heating up the pre-order charts in Japan. Both games feature enhanced graphics and new dungeons, but apart from that, details on other enhancements are still scarce.
