North American box art for Jeanne d’Arc
It looks like the upswing in the quality of the North American box art of Japanese games is going strong. Check out the new box art for the North American version of Jeanne d’Arc on the left for proof.
Jeanne d’Arc follows a fictitious retelling of the story of Jeanne d’Arc, more commonly known to us as Joan of Arc. The game features 3D turn-based RPG gameplay and also includes a gameplay feature similar to the Support system in the Fire Emblem series. For a (very) rough idea of how the gameplay goes, you can check out the web commercial we posted a while ago.
This new strategy RPG from Level-5 and Sony Computer Entertainment will be hitting the U.S. this August. Definitely good news for strategy RPG fans (including this blogger, who wasn’t even sure if this game would really be released outside Japan).
