NPD sales report: MotorStorm best-selling PS3 game for March 2007
Among the best-selling PS3 games last March, one game stood out. Sony‘s MotorStorm sold 199,075 copies, beating out Resistance: Fall of Man and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
MotorStorm only reached 5th in overall game sales for March though. The best-selling game for the month was not for any of the next-gen consoles but for the PlayStation 2: God of War II. This data was gathered from NPD‘s sales figures from March 4 to April 7.
Another game worth watching out for is Guitar Hero II for the Xbox 360 which made rank 3 among the best-selling games. It was released last April 3 and within five days sold over 300,000 copies.
