On May 12, 2007, the Nucleus Art Gallery in Alhambra, California will be holding an art show and book signing for Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.’s (SCEI) God of War artists. From 6 P.M. to 7 P.M., you may have your God of War art books autographed by the concept artists themselves, while 7:10 P.M. to 11 P.M. is when the art show itself will be happening.

Apart from the freebies, raffle, and door prizes to be given away, you may also while away your time visiting the playable God of War game on-site. But of course, what would make this event special is the attendance of the contributing artists, along with other featured artists like Andy Park, Charlie Wen, Cecil Kim, and more.

Says the public invitation from the Nucleus site,

We beckon all mortals to revel in the visual feast that is “The Artists of the God of War”… The work, although commercial, proves worthy to be famed, hanged, and appreciated by game lovers, fantasy lovers and art lovers alike.

So, if you’re not doing anything that night and you just happen to be in the neighborhood, why don’t you drop by and spend your evening with a worthwhile cultural immersion? There won’t be any slaughtered cattle here, we promise.
