NVIDIA launches Vista Quality Assurance webpage
To keep up with all the driver issues that Vista users have been getting regarding their nVidia GPUs, nVidia has launched their own Vista Quality Assurance webpage. The website also has a bug reporting tool so that end users can bring their issues directly to nVidia. The company promises daily reviews of any reported bugs for faster resolution.
Here’s a list of the current Windows Vista drivers and the product support they provide:
- v96.85 – WHQL certified for GeForce FX Series
- v97.46 – WHQL for GeForce 6 and GeForce 7 Series
- v100.59 – Beta driver for GeForce 6, GeForce 7, and GeForce 8800 Series
The webpage also notes that WHQL driver packages for nForce 4, nForce 5 series and nForce 6 series MCPs are available for download from nvidia.com. nVidia says that it will continue to update Windows Vista drivers to ensure maximum performance on 3D applications and add feature support over the following weeks.
