Nyko announces launch line-up for PS3

PS3 HDMI port

Today, peripheral retailer Nyko Technologies have announced that they will release three new accessories for the PS3 console when it finally hits U.S. shores on the golden November 17th release date. The three new accessories designed by Nyko to enhance your PS3 experience include the Dual Charger AC, HDMI Cable, and Charge Link – all of which will give gamers new options when it comes to true high-definition video and reliable charging solutions enabling you to play for longer. You may be thinking that the PS3’s SIXAXIS controller will be charging itself when no in use, so why do you need a charger?

Well, Nyko’s charge link is a charging solution for the SIXAXIS wireless controller, allowing gamers to charge and play with the controller simultaneously. The 10 foot cable can not only be used to charge PlayStation 3 controllers but also any other USB device you own. The Charge Link will retail for US$ 14.99, but compared to the patented Dual Charge AC for the PS3 which features dual-USB inputs it’s just a baby.

The Dual Charge AC will allow two PlayStation 3 controllers to be charged at the same time from any standard wall outlet using the two included four foot Mini USB cables. You’ll be needing a pair of readily-charged PS3 controller too, with PS1 and PS2 controllers not working with Sony’s latest console.

The compact unit features collapsible prongs for easy storage and can also be used to charge any USB compliant electronic devices, such as digital cameras and MP3 players, giving it a huge list of functions for just US$ 24.99. Nyko’s HDMI Cable is capable of full 1080p video output, offering true high-definition video and audio quality at an affordable price allowing you to see your PS3 games in all their natural beauty for US$ 29.99, much cheaper than Sony’s US$ 100 beast of a HDMI cable.

Nyko also sell a huge range of PSP, iPod, Xbox, PS2 and other accessories on their website; with the PS3 accessories making their debut at Nyko.com on November 17.
