Nyko’s own Wiimote charge station

Nyko 87000Gaming console accessories manufacturer Nyko announced the other week that they will be attending this year’s CES to showcase their newest products. We already knew by then that the company has something in store for Xbox 360 and PS3 owners. Little did we know that they also have something special prepared for Nintendo diehards.

In one of their booths in Vegas, Nyko just made public a charge station for the Wiimote. This isn’t exactly the grandest of ideas as it would be remembered that Joytech came up with the Power Station late last year. Anyway, as subtle as they are, there are differences between the two models lest they want to have problems with intellectual property.

The Nyko 87000 charge station comes with 2 NiMH rechargeable battery packs (not to mention they were rubberized for grip) and six foot power cable. Aside from this, Nyko also promised that they will be sporting other peripherals for the Wii such as the Wireless Sensor Bar and the HD Link.

We will update you regarding pricing and other features as soon as they become available.
