Of fairies, undead warriors, and hovering drakes

Now that the pre-order boxes for Vanguard: Saga of Heroes have hit the shelves, you’re all just probably waiting for Sony Online Entertainment and Sigil Games to announce the beta opening, right? (Umm…you guys do know that getting the pre-order box gives you a chance for a beta invite, right?)

So anyway, since there’s no beta launch announcement yet (that we know of at least), and we’re sure as hell the January 2007 release still seems like centuries from now to you, we’re gonna give you more screens to feast your eyes on lest you go through those awful withdrawal symptoms that gamers tend to have when waiting for a game.

Let’s see, what do we have here? Well, there in the images above you have a Kaon fairy doing her thing outside Leth Nurae and a ginormous (yeah, I made up that word) drake flying over magical ruins. And in the images below (am I starting to sound like a tour guide here or what?), we have the undead warriors gathering in the fallen land of Thestra, a serene snapshot of stables in Qalia, and a merchant ship making its way through the Khal harbor.

It’s best to get familiarized with these lands and creatures fellas as you will be encountering them in the game, but of course with 15 playable races, we trust you’ll be going around and exploring the different realms in no time. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I have the feeling that you hardcore Vanguard players pretty much already know the stuff that I’m blabbering about here, so why don’t we just get to the part where I bring you the screens, yes? Alright then, say no more, enjoy the screens!
