Officers for PC: a squadron of screenshots

Not too many video games go by one-word names. But if it worked for Madonna, it could work for Officers.

Officers is hyped as the most vivid WWII RTS with a non-linear gameplaying experience. Gamers have the freedom to choose the next step of the game. Officers also offers a few secondary missions which, when accomplished, add interest to the game and give reward gamers with extra bonuses.

In Officers, gamers have the options to build up their reinforcement squads according to which units (and how many of available units) he needs. The resource-supplying system has its own range inside of which all your friendly units do not spend their supplies. That means the tanks do not run out of gas and infantry men do not consume their rations until they leave this resource saving area.

Other features of the game include:

• Massive real time strategy game with maps 25 square kilometers each
• Up to 1,500 units may be engaged in a battle
• Astonishing visual effects created by means of particle systems
• Breath-taking atmosphere and gripping gameplay with a large variety of tactical and strategic opportunities

According to its developer GFI UA, Officers will definitely please even most sophisticated gamers. And the title is easier to remember than, say, Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth Rise of the Dark Prince.
