Alright, we know a lot of you guys have been waiting for more details on the 360 Fall Dashboard update, and now, news have just reached our ears that Microsoft has released the complete feature list!

With around 85 new and improved XBLM and XBLA features, well, it’ll be pretty hard for us to congest all of that ‘coz we’re sure you guys wanna know everything (and we mean everything!) about the changes they made. So…instead, we’ll try and give you a gist of the new updates, especially most of the features that most of you guys have been asking us about for quite some time now. Here goes:

  • 1080p video support over VGA and component cables.
  • start menu for XNA-developed games
  • HD-DVD player support
  • WMV playback via streaming from PC (using WMP 11), from a USB drive or a CDR/DVDR, 360 memory units, and even from Zune software!
  • Support for XNA Game Studio Express (separate download and subscription required.)
  • automatic download of new XBLA trial games
  • scoreboards for XBLA titles can be viewed without starting the game
  • better sound quality for voice chat
  • wireless headset and wireless racing wheel support
  • Video support for 50 Hz HDTV modes

Oh, and we thought you guys should know that Famitsu reported that the Fall update’s release will be on October 31st…in Japan. We don’t know yet if this’ll be a worldwide release like the previous ones, or if it’s just for Japan, but what we do know is that the update will be free and available to ALL Xbox Live members. You can check out some of the screens of the fall update we scored below.

Thank God MS released the full list already, otherwise we’d be agonizing over Engrish translations and telling you guys that we’ll be “Chasing, we convey details!” Hahaha. The list dons all the mentioned features and lots lots more, so if you wanna see the full list of features, simply head on to the Xbox site by clicking on the read link below.

Kudos to Blimblim over at the Neogaf forums for the pics!
