Official WoW forums back online
After suffering from some hardware failure, the official World of Warcraft forums are now back online but not without some casualties. Drysc, the one who announced the forum’s rebirth, however noted that some drastic measures needed to be done to get the forums up and running again. These measures included having to roll the forums back to September 12, resulting in the loss of posts made after that date.
According to the World of Warcraft community site team, the new hardware that they installed have whipped the forums into better shape than it has ever been in, so everything’s looking pretty good nowadays regarding server stability and interruption-free posting. Drysc also wanted the forum members to know that they appreciated everyone’s patience and understanding during the downtime, and we’re sure everyone is also grateful for the community site team’s efforts.
