OGDC 2007 announces Speaker Force 8

Evergreen Events - organizer of the 2007 OGDC - Image 1Thought it was a game, did ‘ya? Or some superhero squad, yes? Okay, although they are not superheroes nor will there be only eight of them, they are the confirmed speakers for 2007’s Online Game Development Conference to be held this May.

Arranged by Evergreen Events, it will cater to the quickly evolving and fast growing world of online games, including massively multiplayer ones. It is designed to address issues for both the developer and in part for the gamer in the online segment of the game industry.

Since the online registration and registration discount news before, we’ve heard little else on the developments revolving around  the preparation for the launching OGDC. But they have been very busy, just as Peter Freese, the conference chairperson for OGDC, claims:

As our list of tremendous panels and speakers grow by the day, we become more and more energized by the potential positive impact the Online Game Development Conference can make in the work lives for those of us in the trenches – the game developers. We only expect the value we can bring developers through our program to continue to increase as we move forward.

The Speaker Force 8 eight confirmed speakers are:

  • Sue Bohle – President of The Bohle Company
  • Joshua Hong – CEO & Founder of K2 Network
  • Darius Kazemi – Data Analyst for Turbine, Inc.
  • Jess Lebow – Lead Writer and Content Designer for Flying Lab Software
  • Brian Robbins – Executive Producer and Gaming Evangelist for Fuel Industries
  • David Simkins – Graduate Student, University of Madison-Wisconsin
  • Constance Steinkuehler – Assistant Professor, University of Madison-Wisconsin
  • Zhan Ye – President of GameVision
