Okami protagonist Amaterasu in wolf form - Image 1How many times have you played a game with cel-shaded graphics on a  16:9 and 480p format? Yup, we thought so.

Fortunately, Capcom will offer you a chance to do that with the Nintendo Wii version of the PlayStation 2 classic Okami. “Wolf” down the details in the full article, located after the jump.

Box art for the Wii version of Okami - Image 1If you enjoyed the sumi-e inspired, cel-shaded visual style of the PlayStation 2 version of Okami, then you may want to check its Wii version out again, this time on a different format – 16:9 widescreen and 480p progressive scan, that is.

That’s right, Capcom practically confirmed this little detail on the page of its online store, amidst a list of other features that players of the original version are already familiar with.

With Okami‘s  unique graphics, chances are the game will be even more of a pleasure to behold this second time around. With the rumored March release date of Okami almost upon us, more news from Capcom will likely pour in.

So expect more updates on this game as soon as we get them.
