Bust out the popcorn – it’s time to see what’s on the box office with the latest releases for the Blu-ray home entertainment systems. This week ushers in the release of several titles, and again, there’s something for everybody. We’ve got horror, the Mafia, action, comedy, kiddie-friendly, plus four of Stanley Kubrick‘s movies. We actually don’t know where to start, so we’re just going to jump right in.

This week’s releases still leans heavily toward the Halloween theme like the last three weeks of Blu-ray releases, but if you’re neck-deep in horror flicks already, we’ll tackle some of the non-horror films for this week.

Who hasn’t watched the 2000 film, Scary Movie? The “No mercy. No shame. No sequel.” movie offers laugh out loud spoofs of movies like The Matrix, The Exorcist, Scream, and the Blair Witch Project, among others. Definitely a good source of comic relief from all the Halloween titles that’s bound to find their way into you living room this season.

Another quick break from scare-a-thons is the wholesome family adventure title, Meet the Robinsons. Meet Lewis, a genius-slash-inventor taking up residence at an orphanage. Adventure begins when Wilbur Robinson appears, and more chaos ensues when Bowler Hat Man comes along.

More Blu-ray movies after the jump!
