If you thought last week was a ho-hum time for game releases, then there’s really no other way but to describe this week of April 12 to 18 as worse. There are a couple of bright spots here and there, however, so you might as well check out the list anyway. You know, just in case something catches your fancy.

Thank God for the PC releases this week – they seem to be the only good ones coming out.
Am personally looking at Still Life 2. I think the premise is very promising for that one. Although C.O.R.E. is intriguing, too, I’d have to say. Anyway, you go ahead make your own pick.
C.O.R.E – is a first-person shooter for the Nintendo DS, set in the year 2050. You play the role of a U.S. Marine exploring an underground laboratory. As it turns out, the lab complex was built for research on the effects of a meteor that crash-landed on the Mojave Desert years ago. This game will have single card play, but will also make local multiplayer available. No online multiplayer for you, though.
Demigod – This one’s a team-based hybrid action/ RPG/ RTS title that lets you control a massive Demigod. Your goal: annihilate your opponent’s position in a given arena, while at the same time defending your own.
Dokapon Journey – Developed by Sting Entertainment and published by Atlus, Dokapon Journey gives you another RPG/Board-game hybrid adventure. Monsters have invaded the Kingdom of Dokapon and the king is desperate enough to offer his throne and the hand of his daughter in marriage to any one who will be brave enough to save their land. Are you up to the challenge?

Escape the Museum – There’s been an earthquake and Susan Anderson is trapped within the collapsed National Museum of History. There are other survivors, and she must find them and lead them all to safety outside. But that’s not all she’s supposed to save. Priceless historical artifacts must also be retrieved and recovered, and making her way through the rubble and maze-like structure of the museum will prove to be a more herculean task then she ever imagined.

Still Life 2 – It’s time to play dual roles now as you control two heroines to solve the puzzle crime through the complementary perspectives of the victim (Palom Hernandez) as she is hunted by the killer, and that of FBI agent Victoria McPherson hunting the killer down.
