On Shelves This Week: July 26 to August 1, 2009
Tired of the flimsy four-game batches we’ve been having lately? We’ve got double the number this week, with big titles you definitely don’t want to miss out on, even if you’re not much of a day one buyer. For starters, there the PC version for Bionic Commando (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) and the naval strategy game, East India Company. Cherry on the icing goes to King of Fighters XII (PS3, Xbox 360),and the much-anticipated Wii Sports Resort, hand-in-hand with the Wii MotionPlus.

Bionic Commando – Finally, following the release of its Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, the PC version finally comes out later this week. Those who intend to pick this version up can look forward to support for DX9 and 10, higher resolutions, and remappable controls.
East India Company – In a time of trade ships, booming economies, and naval warfare, you’ll have to decide the best trade routes to help your company profit, or fight it out to out-blow your enemies out of the water. This strategy game combines the thrill of naval combat and the challenge of manipulating and adapting to the economy.
