We’ve had a decidedly subdued batch of releases last week, but expect things to pick up quite a bit this time around. Team Ninja‘s latest entry to the Ninja Gaiden series, Ninja Gaiden 2 (an Xbox 360 exclusive), will finally slice and dice its way into online and brick-and-mortar retailers.

Ryu Hayabusa‘s fans aren’t the only ones getting love this time; racing fans will find their dose of happy with the multi-platform release of Codemaster’s GRID, and action-adventure fans who prefer to add their own touch to their escapades will no doubt want to check out Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. Let’s start off the list with a bang with…

Ninja Gaiden 2 Team Ninja Xbox 360 - Image 1Ninja Gaiden 2. The much-awaited ultra-violent sequel to Ryu Hayabusa’s next-gen bloody rampage, Ninja Gaiden 2 will no doubt cater to fans of this classic hack-and-slash series gone high-res. This time, players can take advantage of the new combat system to decapitate enemies and even slice off their limbs. The combat system update doesn’t only improve Ryu’s tactics, but also lets enemies resort to suicide tactics if ever they realize that they’ll end up as fodder for Ryu’s sword. Definitely not a game to be missed.
