On the AppleInsider Podcast, AppleVision Pro exasperations and phone 16 excitement are discussed.
Apple Vision Pro is still a great product, but you can’t do enough with it.
Apple Vision Pro fans are frustrated with the lack of progress. Perhaps Apple is thinking about the iPhone 16 that will be released soon or the larger, better and perhaps bendier models to come. Wes Hilliard, a fan of the Apple Vision Pro, is joined by Mike Wuerthele, a less-fan. It would be clickbait if we said that either host has changed their minds, but one does see a future for the headset while the other is more frustrated with it. This is not what you might expect. Wes believes that the troubles of Sonos go back much further than just its most recent app. Plus, there are new iPhones coming out in a few months and they will, as always, have updated cameras. It’s inevitable that the iPhone’s camera will reach a point at which it can no longer be improved, but this won’t be in 2024. BONUS: Subscribe to AppleInsider+ via Patreon, or Apple Podcasts.
