One more scan of No More Heroes

 

Here’s something to take the edge off the recent UK banning of Manhunt 2, and it’s a fresh scan of Marvelous Interactive‘s No More Heroes from scanworthy Famitsu. We get you a peek into this Suda 51 masterpiece that’s brash, bold, and very daring – daring enough to put its protagonist, Travis Touchdown, in a rather compromising position for all Famitsu readers to see.

The scan is filled with blocks of Japanese text, undecipherable for the rest of us, so we’re going by the pictures. The cel-shaded graphic style reminiscent of Killer7, Suda 51’s sleeper hit on the PlayStation 2, is still intact, as is his quirky character design.

We see a long-haired man with the rather oversized handcannon, a stunning young woman looking at you with a glazed look in her eyes – and finally, Travis himself, doing number two and wearing a shirt that has cute anime heroines printed on it.

Definitely not the usual hero fodder, this one, but definitely something to look forward to. Enjoy the scan.
