One new Famitsu scan of Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 5 scan - Image 1

Earlier, we updated you on the new details surrounding the next-gen iteration of the critically-acclaimed zombie shoot-em-up series, Resident Evil 5 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Now, here’s a scan that confirms one of the facts stated in the previous interview with Jun Takeuchi – namely the way Chris Redfield aims and shoots.

As you can see from the scan, specifically on one of the screenshots – Chris Redfield is indeed visible on the left side of the screen, with the right side of the screen free for the player to work with in terms of aiming and firing. And from the looks of the enemies swarming Chris, he’s going to need to do those things FAST, if he has to survive.

So, besides the fact that the shooting and aiming is going to be similar to Resident Evil 4‘s, what else is new? It also seems that the fifth game in the series will delve deeper into the mysteries surrounding the fourth. Not bad, considering there’s quite a bit of loose ends left after RE4. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that we don’t have to wait until 2010 to find out.
