One of the last few PS3 TV spots for Europe

Before the PlayStation 3 was released here in the U.S., Sony pulled out a lot of marketing strategy that left us all amazed and baffled. Their billboard adverts were clean and sweet while their TV spots were awe-inspiring. But before the rest of the world forget, let us remind you that the console hasn’t been launched yet in Europe meaning they’re just starting to get all these promotional stints.

Like this one for instance. If we are not mistaken, this is actually the third television commercial Sony has for the PS3 in Europe. It focuses on the Cell Processor, comparing it to cup stacking. We know it sounds quite weak and somewhat lame but you have to see the ad to understand the genius and brilliance behind. After all, honesty simplicity is the best policy. Or something like that.

If all things go well (crosses fingers), our European friends would finally get their hands on the PlayStation 3 sometime this March. In the meanwhile, we’ll just try to past time and watch these cool advert.
