Online modes still not confirmed for Shiren the Wanderer’s US version
Back at E3, Atlus announced that they had picked up the rights to publish Shiren the Wanderer in North America. The game features randomly-generated areas, intense boss battles, and extensive item customization. The Japanese original also had online features like the rescue system, leaderboards, and a versus mode. Thing is, Atlus hasn’t confirmed yet if the online modes will make it into the North American release.

“It’s too early to discuss,” Aram Jabbari, Manager of Public Relations and Sales, explained to Siliconera. Atlus is panning to release the game with a US$ 39.99 price tag, so the pricing strategy could have an effect on what modes make it into the final copy.
Shiren the Wanderer is still a long way from its spring 2010 release date, though, so hopefully we’ll hear some good news from Atlus as we get closer to launch.
