Open Your Xbox 360 Without Leaving Any Marks

Four hundred dollars for an Xbox 360 is not exactly cheap. So as much as possible, I’m sure most of you would like to keep your consoles as new-looking as possible, taking care not to scratch them. So don’t you just hate it when the 360 gets scratched when you open it up? Hydra shares a way to open your console without leaving any mark on it. All you’d need is a CD or DVD disc spindle tub.

So don’t you just hate it when the 360 gets scratched when you open it up? Hydra shares a way to open your console without leaving any mark on it. All you’d need is a C or DVD disc spindle tub.

Here goes…

STEP 1

Take the cover of the spindle tub and cut a small piece of from the side of it. Put the cut piece over the console (as shown above). Mark out where the holes are.

STEP 2

Cut the piece into a key like the one shown in the picture. The tabs would need to be 1cm. long.

STEP 3

Repeat the above steps to the other side and you’ll get two opening keys that look like these:

Open the front of your console in the normal way. Place a bit of paper inside the case to keep the front a bit open. Insert the key you made, push with a bit of force and you would hear a clicking sound indicating that the case has opened. Do the same for the other side and…

VOILA! You now have a open, unmarked Xbox 360.
