Opening cut scene for Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War will be released in Japan on May 10. Seeing that the launch is just one set of winks away, Square Enix decided to upload the opening cut-scene for the PSP video game. As you all know, these cinematics are important as they set the tone for the game.

The title is actually a port of the PlayStation 1 (PSOne) original. Take note that Square Enix didn’t just port the game in the traditional sense of the word as many new features and improvements have been employed. Aside from cel-shaded full motion videos, new content has also been added, like extra job classes.

Speaking of which, the opening cut scene doesn’t reveal yet any information on the newly announced character Luso. But hardcore FF fans should know that she is the main protagonist in the DS title Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The Sealed Grimore. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War is priced at 4,800 Yen (US$ 41).
