Opoona delayed in Japan, now scheduled on November 1
Space opera RPG Opoona just took a minor detour past some wormholes and is now floating off in its slightly delayed orbit. Originally, Koei‘s upcoming title was scheduled for its release on September 27 for the Nintendo Wii.
Now, due to some polishing work, Koei’s pushed back the Japanese release to November 1 instead. They’re going to try to make up for the delay by taking advantage of the time they have. They say that the game needs a bit more improvement in quality, and for that reason, they’re willing to sacrifice having to postpone its release.
Well, any delayed game is better than a half-baked title that’s premature.
As for the release in North America and other regions, no dates have been mentioned as of yet. We’ll be giving you updates as they surface.
