OutRun going HD, coming to PSN and XBL next year
Sega has announced the HD-fication of their classic OutRun arcade racer. That’s right folks, OutRun will be making its way to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live as OutRun Online Arcade. Details and a video after the jump.
Sega has announced the HD-fication of their classic OutRun arcade racer. That’s right folks, OutRun will be making its way to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live as OutRun Online Arcade.
Aside from the HD graphics, OutRun Online Arcade will feature 15 courses, 10 fully licensed Ferrari rides, and multiplayer support for up to six players. The Xbox 360 version will feature achievements and voice. The PS3 version will come with trophies, VoIP, and leaderboards.
OutRun Online Arcade is being handled by Sumo Digital, the same guys behind GTi Club+, and will be available early next year. In the meantime, check out the trailer below for some crazy drifts.
