Pachter: This holiday will wake up to sleeper hit, Brutal Legend
Michael Pachter of Wedbush Morgan is betting on Electronic Arts‘ Jack Black starrer, Brutal Legend (PS3, Xbox 360) to be this holiday’s sleeper hit. He was quick to qualify, however, that it’s not gonna be that much of a smash hit, but a hit, nonetheless.
Michael Pachter of Wedbush Morgan is betting on Electronic Arts‘ Jack Black starrer, Brutal Legend (PS3, Xbox 360) to be this holiday’s sleeper hit. He was quick to qualify, however, that it’s not gonna be that much of a smash hit, but a hit, nonetheless.
Said Pachter, “I think this is going to be the sleeper hit of the holiday season. When I say that I mean a couple million units, so it’s not going to be Gears of War type numbers.” He also expressed his belief that it will be a profitable game, and that although it maybe more on the niche side, Jack Black’s involvement in the game makes it more accessible to the masses.
And because of all this mention of Jack Black, here’s a little, mellow Jack treat for those who have yet to appreciate the artist that he is. No, really. Seriously. Let’s get it on.
