Here’s another case of all you’ve seen it all except for the game’s packshot. Upon reading this statement, most of you will surely and most definitely raise the following questions: Why does a packshot even matter if you’ve seen tons of load of screens? Why would I care to see a packshot if I’ve watched or downloaded video after video of gameplay and trailers of the game?

However, we have to give a packshot some of the credit that it deserves. Consider this, we can liken a packshot to a book’s cover and the actual game its leaves or pages. Not only does the cover keep the leaves together, it is a representation of the game. As most advertisers know, most people are easily swayed by aesthetics. Why else do you think a lot of politicians and celebrities spend huge bucks on PR?
