Over on the QJ.NET PSP Development forum, Mr305 has released another graphically-geared plugin for the Sony PlayStation Portable: PaintOnXMB v1. The PaintOnXMB plugin does exactly what the name says: it lets you doodle all over your PSP's XMB. The dev says that you can even draw stuff on-screen while you're in a game. Check out the screenshots below for examples.
This plugin only allows freehand drawing for now (no shapes), but shapes will hopefully be added in a future release. It looks like PaintOnXMB may also make it as a new module in an upcoming TweakDISPLAY release. Anyway, here's the control scheme:
- RTRIGGER + ANALOG - Draw
- CIRCLE - New Random Color
- SQUARE + CIRCLE - Reset (Clear all)
