Palm To Overtake BlackBerry by the End of the Year?

Palm claimed that the recent legal quandary between it’s arch rival BlackBerry, has paved way for the sudden sale surge of its smartphone Palm Treo, which combines a cellphone with wireless email capabilities and other applications. They added that getting in partnership with other software manufacturer contributes to the current success of Treo, and hoping to gain the lead over BlackBerry at the end of the year. But BlackBerry will not be overtaken without giving any fight. At the present, the Blackberry is still enjoying a relatively comfortable lead over Treo and once it frees itself from the legal debacle, we will see a fierce competition between these two smartphone giants.
