PaRappa creator, new ESA president join 2008 D.I.C.E. Summit
More speakers have been added to the 2008 D.I.C.E. Summit’s speaker roster. PaRappa the Rapper creator Masaya Matsuura has been confirmed as a speaker at next year’s D.I.C.E. Summit. Matsuura, who is currently working on a new music title for the Nintendo Wii, joins newly-appointed Entertainment Software Association president Michael D. Gallagher in the summit’s speaker roster.
Other industry members confirmed to be part of the speaker roster include Mike Morhaime, Blizzard Entertainment’s president and co-founder, and Jim Ward, president of LucasArts and senior vice president at Lucasfilm. Dr. Mark Ollila, Nokia’s Director of Technology and Strategy for Games and Multimedia, is also on the speaker roster.
The 2008 D.I.C.E. Summit will be held at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas on February 6 to 8, 2008. Comedian and video game enthusiast Jay Mohr will be reprising his role as the summit’s host for the third year running.
