Patapon artworks and details from Famitsu
Japanese publication Famitsu‘s website has a couple of interesting information and artworks on the upcoming PlayStation Portable video game Patapon. While Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) just recently opened the title’s official site, nothing much is known about the game.
According to Famitsu, players in Patapon take on the role of a god. Then the little people we’ve seen in the video are actually the Patapons and they worship you. You can command them by doing different button presses and combinations. You can ask them to slay monsters for you, to protect you, or to even advance to different villages.
Speaking of which, several mini games can be accessed while the Patapons are in a village. There will also be customization options because killing monsters will yield to several in-game items that can be forged to create better and more powerful weapons.
SCEJ has still to name a concrete release date for Patapon. While waiting for further details, just check out some screenshots and artworks below.
