Patapon screenshots – retreat, attack, and catapault hijacking

We never get tired of eerily cute soldiers of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan‘s Patapon for the PSP. We’ve got some new eye candy for the upcoming rhythm video game and you can check them out after the jump!

We’ve heard and seen so much about Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ)’s upcoming video game for the PlayStation Portable, Patapon since it was first announced at E3 last year. Today, we got new eye candy in the form of some screenshots for the rhythm game.

In case you’ve been living under a rock for some time, Patapon is a game where you control an army of little weapon wielding blobs by beating the war drums. Anyway, in the screenshots, we get to see some stills of the Patapons raging war against the other little blobs from the other tribes. We also see them going up against – more like retreating from – a giant crab.
