Those who got Namco Bandai‘s Mr. Driller Online from XBLA and were disappointed about its broken online multiplayer mode can now heave a sigh of relief: Mr. Driller Online will soon get a patch that will fix its heavy lag issues. The free update will become available around the end of May.

Mr. Driller Online, which was released around the first week of April, suffered from severely crippling lag problems in its online multiplayer mode, disappointing those who purchased the game. Several gamers reportedly refunded the points used towards the purchase of the game as well.

But now that the patch is already on the way, gamers can now finally enjoy Mr. Driller Online as intended. More details as they come.
