Penguins, Boos and underwater monsters: new Super Mario Galaxy trailer and gameplay videos
Super Mario Galaxy, the latest installment in Mario’s epic adventure of saving Princess Peach from the clutches of Bowser, is all but a mere hop, skip and jump away from being unleashed into US shores. And to torture ourselves with what we could be experiencing right now (with Japan getting the earliest release as usual), is this gameplay and trailer video update of the game, featuring the world-famous plumber in action on the Nintendo Wii.
So, what’s new in this batch of moving eye candy? We get to see two whole stages, as well as a boss fight at the very end. Not to spoil anything, but suffice to say the game throws a lot of enemy creatures at you – thankfully, Mario’s come prepared with a plethora of new moves to stay in tip-top, head-stomping shape. We also see how we can control Mario’s movement, not just by the analog stick, but by interaction with the Wiimote pointer – and it definitely adds another layer to the already complex platformer.
In any case, enjoy the videos!
The rest of the videos after the jump!
